- About us
Building strong players.
Stronger teams.
A connected community.
- Our purpose
Three pillars hold the program up.
The Jr. Pirates exist to create real structure for kids in the Pattonville area who love basketball, practices, games, mentorship, and a path to high school sports that doesn’t depend on luck or connections.
- Program structure. Year-round skill development, including camps, personal training and organized clubs. Just ask us how.
- School partnerships. Working hand-in-hand with local schools to help athletes transition into high school teams.
- Community engagement. Building family, sponsor, and neighborhood networks that last beyond the season.
- Partnerships
Schools, gyms, and neighbors, all in.
- Coach spotlight
A message from Coach Vince Harmon.
I started the Jr. Pirates program because too many kids in this area loved the game and had nowhere to play. No feeder team, no consistent coaching, no path to high school ball. So I built one. My philosophy is simple: teach the fundamentals, demand effort, and treat every kid like they matter, because they do.
We’re not just running practices. We’re building young men and women who show up, work hard, and represent something bigger than themselves. That’s the Pirate standard.
"You don't rise to the level of your talent. You fall to the level of your preparation. We prepare — every single day."

"Tradition is worthless unless you work as
hard as the people that created it."
