Most teams practice 2–3 times per week, with games and tournaments on weekends.
Rosters are set after open tryouts based on grade, skill level, and team fit. We’re transparent, coaches will explain any decision to parents directly.

No. Jr. Pirates Basketball is an independent non profit community organization. We partner with local schools but operate separately.

A feeder program develops young players and prepares them to move into a high school team’s pipeline. Jr. Pirates is the official feeder program for Pattonville High School basketball, meaning our players train with the skills and structure that carry directly into high school-level ball.
No. Our Feeder Development track (ages 8-14) is built for beginners, we teach the fundamentals from scratch. No experience needed, just a willingness to learn and work hard.
Jr. Pirates Basketball is based in Pattonville and serves families throughout Maryland Heights, Bridgeton, St. Ann, and Creve Coeur, MO.
